Discription: 

Silibase-2895 is a polysiloxane polyether copolymer with silicon-carbon bond and non-hydrolytic type, commonly used as a broad-spectrum foam stabilizer for rigid polyurethane foam. It has a wide range of applications, suitable for the foam system of high water content, HCFC-141b, HFC-134a, and hydrocarbons (eg. cyclopentane).

 

Typical Data: 

  • Appearance: Light yellow to amber transparent liquid

  • Content of active material: 100%

  • Viscosity(25C): 500-1500 cp

 

Feature:

  • Silibase-2895 has a unique design of molecular structure, thus it has excellent emulsifying ability, 

    nucleating and foam stability ability.

  • Silibase-2895 allows the material fluidity more desirable to ensure uniform density distribution of the molded products,     and allows the foam to have a very fine cell and narrow pore size distribution.

 

How to use:

Use levels of 1.5 to 2.5 parts Silibase-2895 per 100 parts polyols are suggested. The optimum dosage is determined by the particular foam formulation.

 

Packing and Storage: 

  • Available in 25 kg pail and 200kg drums.

  • 24 months in closed containers.
